Icon Game

As part of a game I created four simplistic icons using Adobe Illustrator in order for my peers to try and guess what film or TV show they were from.

Repurposing Walt Disney - Fault Disney

I used Adobe Illustrator to redesigned three minimal film posters for the brand Fault Disney, which explores how these classic Disney narratives may be altered if the focus is instead on the nonhuman and the damaged environment.

The Thing Below

Myself and a course-mate created a folklore in the form of a children's storybook with the aim of instructing future generations not to dig at a specific site (potentially where nuclear waste would be buried).

App Prototype - Code

I used Adobe XD to design a prototype for an app called Code. The speculative concept of this app is to purchase emotions ranging from sad to happy. Perhaps we will eventually become so numb that purchasing emotions is our only option. Access the working app HERE.

Art as a Weapon

Art can be used as a weapon when considering specific political movements. For example, John Heartfield created anti-Nazi photomontages. I used Adobe Illustrator to create my own culture-jamming piece that explores the ignorance we have towards data cookies. In order to access the information we want we always automatically accept the website's cookies. It's like  swap, or a trade, like a girl guide would force their home baked cookies upon us in return for our money.
